How mouse extermination works

Setting traps isn’t enough: as long as the entry points stay open, new mice move in to replace the old ones. Our approach combines removal and exclusion, in four steps.

1. Inspecting the house and its surroundings

The technician confirms the species (house mouse, deer mouse or rat), locates activity from droppings, tracks and gnawed materials, then inspects the building from the outside: foundation, utility entries, dryer vents, garage door sills, roof. A mouse can squeeze through an opening barely 6 mm wide, so no crack is too small to note.

2. Treatment plan and quote

Mouse, deer mouse or rat: identifying the rodent

The house mouse is greyish-brown, with a tail as long as its body; it breeds year-round in heated buildings, with up to 8 litters a year. The deer mouse has a bright white belly and feet and large eyes; it lives in fields and woods and looks for shelter in houses in the fall.
